About Alvica

Alvica is a beautiful complex of trulli set on vast farmland only minutes away from Martina Franca, and in driving distance from Ceglie and Grottaglie, the beautiful historical city of Ostuni, the Spartan founded port-city of Taranto, and located at the very centre of the enchanting region of Puglia. While only a short drive away from all major attractions in the area, Alvica provides a sense of tranquility and a cathartic experience. No traffic, no noise, no distractions. Farming, walks amongst the centenarian olive trees and a prosecco by the pool! All while staring into the history of Puglia through the imposing cone-shaped trulli that stand guard. ​​The Barbi-Walt family purchased the complex and land to create a unique experience. “IS ALVICA a BED & BREAKFAST?” - Some may ask. Yet, Lily, Evie, Marco, Hudson, Hunter and Mara Barbi would be offended! For Alvica is that and much more. While one may book a room for a night and enjoy a warm, home made Southern Italian dish at any time, events, parties, tennis, archery and  farming with the family can all be part of your Puglia adventure. Treasure hunts planned monthly, Halloween, Christmas and other celebrations all come to life in Alvica.
